Pixels as currency? My screen would make me rich! :XD:
(I am also developing a game myself!
I'm using RPG Maker VX Ace to develop an Animaniacs themed RPG...
I think I could really use your help on it, especially with sprites...
And your game seems to be going along smoothly, too! :aww: )

I'm pretty good at spriting already ;) I just have a hard time finishing things alone, and I want to make sure this game is made :XD:

Now anything too high, since you could always hunt down the monsters for Pixels to pay things off XD.

Ohhhh...very interesting how you blue-shifted everything in the background. Reminds me of Cube World. :P

Hmmmmm but it still needs a lot more work. The background is very rough, there is only one shade to the sky and all of the clouds look very 2-dimensional...This is a WIP if anything.

Hmmm...not quite what I had in mind, but I certainly know a good way to show what I mean...

This is where I learned to color: www.deviantart.com/art/How-I-S… :D

Jeez, so much text o.o.  I'm more of an action person, so most of that flies over my head lol.  I get the jist of what they're saying; my sister usually said the same thing.  I don't think that sort of thing would hold over too well with tiles though; not unless it was done in a specific way.  Like, for example, if you were making a sunset palette...having the oranges go to red then purple would look lovely~

Well, if you're gonna get anything out of that tutorial, it's that it pays to check photographs for EVERYTHING. Even if it's something you already know how to draw, sometimes checking out photos can give you insight into how to create natural lighting and sky effects, as well as clouds: www.jneil.com/airscapes/2002_n…
